PROJECT MANAGER – INTERN • 2017-2018  – Managed the integration of machine monitoring into the precision CNC machine shop.  – Reviewed machine PLC ladder diagrams to determine the requirements to connect and acquire required data.  – Contacted machine manufacturers to understand the potential impact on the machines and the complexities of monitoring installation.  – Conducted ROI analysis on available monitoring software solutions.  – Collaborated with the machine operators and shop supervisors to determine their needs and expectations.  – Wrote (Python) a software tool to interface with the chosen monitoring software.  – Developed (Python, C++) and manufactured a ‘Smart’ stack light used to display to the shop supervisors the machine status and part status.  – Developed (Python, C++) and manufactured a ‘Smart’ 7-segment used to display to the machine operators how much time is remaining in the current machining segment.
